Arlene, so sorry we didn't know. We and the kids are really going to miss Howard. Remember when he taught them to make pot holders when they were little? Always smiling, it made us happy to watch how close you were with each other. Our loss is Heavens gain.

I am honored to have known Howard Cole. In addition to the many wonderful things about him, Howard grew the best tomatoes I ever tasted. We are all better people for having experienced his great spirit and warm friendship.

Thanks so much for taking such wonderful care of Uncle Howard. Aunt Arlene you are the greatest Love Linda

Howard was a treasure trove of information...he remembered every person's life history....who their parents and siblings were, who they married, which kid belonged to which father or mother, etc. He could pull names out of nowhere and give you birthdates and death dates, wedding dates and, in some cases, divorce dates! He was a loving, caring and generous man and he loved all of his relatives and friends with unabashed delight. I can still hear his laughter when he

Howard was such a wonderful man. He always made me smile and laugh. Arlene you did a wonderful job raising him. You taught him the values of friends and how to love. I will miss him terribly. I will never forget how I wanted to help him take the garbage to the bin but Arlene you wanted him to learn it by himself and how he used to throw corn into the field. We really had fun at the casino. That always put a big smile on his face. I love you all from Duane and Betty Hartman.
